I normally don't do the recent stuff, but I'm bored, so I made an exception here. This is a Drive-Thru compilation from the 2008 Ohio State v. Minnesota game.

Ohio State routed Minnesota for about 50 minutes, jumping out to a 34-6 lead. Stalled red zone possessions prohibited the Buckeyes from scoring even more points. Minnesota did make a mini-run at the end, coinciding with some liberal substitutions on the defense and the defense basically forgetting that it has to play all 60 minutes.

Sidenote: I hate the Big Ten Network's production of these games. It's just... bad.

  • 3:35 - should have been blown dead after forward progress was stopped. Drive should have continued....

  • i think todd boeckman deserved more playing time, he had a bad game vs usc, how many qbs go into usc and have a good game.

  • very nice video. ourhonordefend you make the best Ohio State videos i have ever seen. congrats. and keep up the good work. GO BUCKS!

  • Thom Brennaman is pretty cool though. He really gets into the game; I like him.

  • Arggghhh that last Minnesota touchdown killed my Ohio State bet. Stupid backdoor cover

  • i hate the big ten network's games

  • If you compare this Minnesota team to, say, Ohio State's opponents from the 90s, it looks like the Big Ten these days is a pee-wee league. Ohio State's O-line pillow-fought their way through last season and won 10 games. They better step it up this season and beat USC.

  • What made this impressive is that this was when Minnesota was good. Minnesota got ranked at one point at 7-1 and then lost five straight, losing to Northwestern, Michigan (yes, the 3-9 Wolverines), Wisconsin, and got slammed 55-0 by Iowa before going on to lose their bowl game 42-21 to a crappy Kansas team.
