@danmanv3 My underdeveloped brain got me through Northwestern University with an engineering degree. I'm now working as a structural engineer. Dimwitted? Lol

Does it work in your personal areas lower than your armpits, but higher than your legs??? This is a serious question btw!!

Erm a little help guys. Im a guy, I have hair on my shoulders, I want to get rid of the long hairs but I want to leave the small fine baby hairs alone otherwise it will look too smooth compared to my arms etc. so just wanted your views on what method would be best. Can you use an epilator to just target long hairs?? Or is there another way. Product suggestion are welcomed, any ideas?? =]

i am thinking about buying the Braun Silk-épil Xpressive 7281 the wet and dry one but it is my first time using an epilator and i have never waxed before. Do epilators work on the private area if u know what i am talking about?? lol

So I purchased one yesterday and did my under arms and bikini area, well lets say there is a first time for everything and yes it hurt but its about mentally blocking the pain, lot of fine print to know for after care as well

that little plastic attachment that you weren't sure about is for your bikini :)
if it pulls on your skin does it cut it?

@kagomae58 Yes, you end up with a little burn. You have to make sure the skin is pulled really tight - the pulling/burning feels makes me jump every time!

I just brought the silk epil 5 epilator, i'm quite scared to use it though because i know it's meant to be painful :/ do you find it painful??? x

@icecreamjelly I wouldn't use mine on anywhere other than my legs (arms, maybe). You have to use it on firm skin so it doesn't tug on your skin. You get used to it very quickly though!

How long does it take to epilate your legs? I got a pretty decent epilator (not really though, I kinda hate it xD) and it takes me about an hour. Sometimes it also doesn't get the hair off, but just cuts it at the root and grows back like normal in some areas. Does this epilator do that?

@TalmageMacGoulagher I usually take no more than 10 minutes. I don't bother to get every last hair, but I know what you're talking about - almost like the hair is not coarse enough to be grabbed firmly. I usually try to slide the epilator over my skin very slowly so I'm not pulling hairs and breaking them.
