@hodgekiller11b You are correct, BUT they are designed to bend under massive impact loads - NOT by pulling on them with a little bit of effort. What you see here is not safe for anything, even a kids go-kart!
-
@ADubTheGrizzy No, that camera shake is from where the camera was mounted on the (open) door, and shows how hard the Nardi was being pulled.

I can't believe some people are trying to defend that piece of shit. If you want to put that in your car and have it break in half when you're doing 75mph on the highway then be my guest. Or just don't be cheap and spend the extra $100 dollars to get the real thing.

@uhrrtax oh and anyway i am doing the same test will millenium evo and fake millenium evo from ebay for 30 quid ;)

@DriftworksLtd no you dont get it... accident happened as soon as you put it in a car :) so it made what it was supposed to :D

Big Pun - Capital Punishment / Ghost - Big Doe Rehab. Good choices, gentlemen.
Oh yeah, and you get what you pay for. Save up the extra $'s and get the real deal.
you dont get it... it is a safety feature... it is a colapsable steering wheel it prevents from injuries during the accident...

@uhrrtax No, you don't get it I'm afraid! A steering wheel should only ever collapse in an accident, not by leaning on it a little! :D

What's with the spokes on the bottom of the wheel at 1:50, it looks tampered with?
I know ebay wheels are made much cheaper than name bands but if the knock was that flimsy you'd think they couldn't sell them at all. I think the flimsiness was a bit exaggerated myself, I mean, this is basically an advert for there shop/store.
Not hating or anything, just pointing out some things that caught my attention is all. :)

@FlatlandWulf The wheel was not in any way tampered with before filming. The box was opened, wheel laughed at and then we started filming. It is possible some shots are out of sequence but what you see happened as the wheel came. We cut it up afterwards to see how it was made and the main structure was scary. Just pressed tin CRIMPED onto the spokes. Not welded, or one-piece etc.

ROmeuh 1 month ago
@ROmeuh He did, and actually put more effort into it - apparently it just doesn't look like it but we can promise it's true.
