Ballad of Nicole Penix Vanzant

This video is dedicated to the Memory of Nicole Penix Vanzant (1981-2009), and to Justice.

Nicole Penix Vanzant disappeared in Menifee County, Kentucky, on January 19, 2009. Three months of fruitless searching came to an end on April 20 of the same year, when a hiker found a jawbone in the Red River Gorge, thirty miles from where Nicole was last seen. Her murder remains under investigation.

We encourage people to distribute the video. Link it to your site, Facebook, Twitter, blog or email the link to friends. Someone has knowledge about this horrible crime: please speak up, help Nicole and her family find the justice they deserve.

My son told me to check out this video, He thinks the girl singing, musicians, producers and the writer, (Fred Brown) to be very talented artist. Glad I got to see it for myself. Stephen is right about the talent of this collaboration, its very good.

My brother, Fred W. Brown wrote this song. He also helped produce the video. Regrettably he was killed in a car accident a little over two months ago. One of his greatest wishes was to help find Nicole's killer and give her family some peace. This is such a sad song, I ran red river alot when i was younger, its a beautiful place, but it can be a very dangerous place to, God be with her family and give them some comfort i cannot imagine what her family went through and is going through still,. My hope is that whoever done this to this poor girl, has a restless life, and knowing the blood on their hands will one day come to be known.
