I was a kid when this episode aired, but I remember watching the last two seasons as they came. Even then, I knew this was something special. I remember going to school the day after the finale (6th grade) and my teacher asking if any of us had seen Friends the night before. Almost everyone raised their hands, and my teacher openly cried in front of us. I'll never forget that. Since then I have taken the time to watch the entire series, and I understand it now. This is American history.
