@mit7771 no he didn't, there were solid body style guitars before les paul built his guitar. and the guitar that les paul built was more of a semi-hollow body rather than a true solid body guitar anyways.

Love the vid! Thanks for sharing your collection and knowledge of the great inventor of the electric bass! As some have mentioned more facts could have been presented or tried to pick apart/correct your words, but we will all wait for a special on the History Channel for the 100% accuracy and details of Leo Fender's life.
