@mattotten Must Be A Gibson Les Paul you're playing! Ever Played A Gibson B. B. King Lucille or a Standard Gibson Les Paul? And that's some good blues jazz there! You could be on Capitol Records or Atlantic Records or Epic Records or Columbia Records or some other major record label!

@Christoballs7810702 WTF? Yes this is blues! It's a 12 bar major blues with a II-V turnaround. It's called a "jazz blues". Jazz is rooted in the blues don't you know?

Matt, I think you feel the music in your soul, but you do not show it physically, I think you should express it physically, moving your body, making that kind of thing. Even so your music is amazing, full of feeling.
-
@terasso Why would he want/need to move his hands more? He has almost perfect technique and great tone. You are being quite impertinent doing such statements.
-
dude you are very woody try to move more your hands

The best jazz guitarist with his chin glued to his neck
-
great job. you have feeling(:
-
I love your feel and touch. All your guitars are beautiful but I realize your playing makes the sound, not the instrument. Thank you!

Nice job -- good to see an older Epiphone Joe Pass. Does it have the standard pickups on it?

What's not bluesy about this solo? What's not to like?
Sorry, but this isn't the blues, this is pure jazz.

yes, it's jazz: it's what jazz musicians would call 'blues in C', because of the 12 bar blues form in the key of C

That's more like it. I'm not as much of a jazz guitarist as I am just an all-around guitarist. I play in a "jazz ensemble" but we hardly ever play real JAZZ as much as swing/latin/blues and everything in between.

if you check out my 'slow blues in G' video, you'll see that it's much closer to 'real' blues, but still jazz (i think)
