How loud is the built-in speaker? Is it loud enough for someone to actually hear it, or is is pretty quiet? Do you know if the FI8910 has built-in speaker?

@kolabar Thanks. The color doesn't bother me. I prefer it to work in the dark then have perfect color reproduction. Wish it would have a sensor that automatically toggles the IR based on available light.

@tbird2340 Nope. The audio just sucks. No other way to say it.

@WelshWidgetMan2O1O No dome. Camera is mounted outside under a roof. It's been about 11 months now and so far so good. Your mileage may vary.

You can disregard my prior question about the camera being mounted in a dome or not, as I now see others also inquired and you already replied to these questions.
I would have simply deleted my comment but apparently the ability to delete your own comment was disabled in this particular thread.
I have a rear screened-in porch I am considering mounting the current model to the ceiling as you have (model FI8910W). I think it would work well since it would be even better protected than yours is.
I have 3 of these and I can't get ANY of them to show video in Internet Explorer 9 to save my life.

@TheOriginalBleachX It appears that Youtube does not allow you to post links. :(
1) Go to: themadhermitdotnet (Replace "dot" with ".")
2) Click the link at the top of the page called "How To Guides"
3) Click the link at the bottom of that page entitled: "How to Get the Foscam FI8918W Wireless Pan And Tilt IP Camera to Work in Internet Explorer 9 on Windows 7"
Hope that helps.

Hey, I am thinking of getting this for the outside in New Jersey (sub 32 winters, hot humid summer). Do you know how well it does in weather? If I have it it a pretty covered area, will it be okay? I can't seem to find any information on that. thanks! excellent video

@chazscheiny It's an indoor camera so if you use it outside you do so (as I have) at your own peril. Mine's been going strong for almost a year now. Just make sure that it is covered. Water will jack the electronics for sure.
