The heron is grounded by the rope wrapped around its foot, and keeps the heron from flying. Not being able to fly makes the bird vulnerable to predators, and unable to feed its self. Binomial Name :Egretta sacra These birds are also known "Pacific Reef Egret" found in many ocean areas of Asia. This Egret is from Okinawa, Japan.
