Where do all the groups hang out in lake Norman? Moved up here an used cruise some o our jets out to sand bars or hang outs, any around on lake Norman?

hi im 14 and just got my jetski licences and was wondering how to get to the sand bar from the cowans ford dam where i live. i have been there before with my dad but he wont tell me how to get there. so could you give me a good day and time to be there and what channel marker and landmark like a marina or something it is by. thanks alot scott
