Cities across the United States are dramatically increasing fees and fines because they lack revenue due to historically low income tax rates, creating a regressive taxation system. Cenk Uygur and Ana Kasparian discuss.
I have no idea why you guys left out the tricky signs like the small print to confuse you and the cameras and on and on just read the small print and do not assume it is safe to park anywhere you will be ticketed .
@sholmesful Excellent. Two individuals with different ideals reached a deal that satisfies both of us. This shows that rational people can work together for the common good. Things can get better.
@sholmesful By the time they are 13 they can read and understand the code of conduct. Heck before they read the document they know that all they have to do is behave themselves and treat others with respect. In the real world, there are serious consequences if you do some thing you are not supposed to. We should apply that to our schools. Don't kick the bad students out on the street, just put all the bad apples in one basket with profesionals so they will get the attention they need.
@acdc30450 Getting a child to read the rules of conduct is a good thing if they can read and comprehend. From what I hear, schools aren't doing well with some states when it comes to education. Your idea of rules and consequences is good so long as it doesn't include kicking children out on the street to learn all the wrong ways of living which would lead to death, jail, and making us all look bad.
@sholmesful Not all children have matured yet. But when they come to the middle school age, they know what they should do and what they should not do. Taking responsibility is a mile stone in development. So by getting them to read a code of conduct and sign it by which they agree to follow said code or else face the consequences is a good way for them to get a taste of making their own decisions. We can not hold their hand for ever. They are going to have to take the lead one day.

@acdc30450 I suspect you and I still have our differences, but it is possible to reach an agreement.
