personally, the UAC didn't bother me that much. It also helped when I accidentally launched a program on my computer, so I didn't have to wait through the load to exit the program. The UAC in Windows 7 is less intrusive, though.

UAC isn't that annoying. If you get annoyed by that one little thing, you must be very impatient.

agreed. myself is using a HIPS based AV, which will pop up every second
