Many lasers are claimed to be rugged. Ours survived a paint shaker and submersion in an aquarium but could it survive a graduate student film crew?
While our Ultra laser was never intended to be a movie star, we wanted to prove how impervious to contamination our Nitrosealed™ system really was when on a film set.
Watch as we drop dirt and sand on our standard 532nm Big Sky Laser brand Ultra in the filming of this apocalyptic survivor scene and then turn it on. And while we caution against this, and we know your laser doesnt have to face this situation, it is good to know an Ultra laser from Quantel is up to the rigors of extreme abuse.
Could your laser survive this test? If youd like us test yours, let us know.

CFR and Ultra laser designs are vibration tested and feature Nitrosealed™ optical trains. We had fun testing our lasers performance under more real world conditions.

Tough. Rugged. Reliable. Simply easy to use. Look for more fun to come.
