  • The battery production of the prius is sooo not carbon neutral. Green buyers should definitely buy a prius. Economical maybe, but not green. Get a BMW deisel, it'll be better for the environment in the long run. Your average prius owner doesn't drive enough to offset the carbon emissions used to produce just the battery.

  • Just bought a 2011 Honda Insight! Awesome car for the money.

  • 50mpg is a joke. The VW Blue-motion engine does 75mpg and over 80mpg in an urban environment or VW's '1-litre car' which managed 285mpg. I truely believe that everyone needs to do all they can to push companies to produce electric vehicles but buying half-assed hybrid vehicles that do more damage than non-electric but highly efficient desiels is the wrong way to go about it.

  • gas prices, i don't need to build more ski resorts in dubai

  • I really miss theese videoes

  • I say that if all the cars on the road produce half the regular amount of c02 emission is just as good as half the cars on the road with no c02 emissions. But your right, we need to forget about gas for good and move on to another brick in the wall, electricity efficiency.

  • Personally I think the hybrid car is retarded. It's just a stupid compromise that makes little sense. It still uses petrol, and petrol is the thing we need to get rid of fast. Now there's a ton of alternate fuels that a combustion engine can run on that dont affect the environment. Hydrogen, Cooking oil or Ethanol for example. all proven to work perfectly and require little to no modifications to a car at all.

  • In what way? The fact they are cleaner? Cheaper to run and maintain, the fact they kick the arse off most other cars because electric engines are 95% efficient while combustion engines are 30% efficient at best?

Have you never seen a Tesla roadster?
