  • She is such an amazing performer and a wonderful person to boot!

She's a brilliant guitar player and lyricist. Really rips straight to your heart. So very raw.

My site was fortunate enough to get an interview with her. Check my profile for a link to the site so you can read it!

  • thanks for your comments. and for the interview. thanks for the support.

  • I just realized that I was there at this performance. She opened for Girlyman (you can see Ty's djembe in the background). This was my first introduction to Pureka and holds a special place in my heart (left ventricle, just lateral to the septum).

You know I dared you like a child, and then you only upped the ante... and unleashed How I Learned to See in the Dark. Massive, massive flutter in my chest realizing this is on YouTube. Thanks fauxpas!

  • wish there was a live dvd id buy it ....

  • "I've got walls, I've got wings,

I am ready for the fire...

    I've got trust in nothing,

see I lost it by and by,

but I've got something shining somewhere,

honey I dream on the sly..."

thank you ... these words touch me more than i can say. i feel like you KNOW that deep deep sadness and still there's hope in all this mess. i feel wonderfully understood when i listen to your music...

germany loves you - feel free to visit anytime !!!

  • the first sentence is: "this next song is on my newest record, as is that one." (referring to her last song) but the rest is the same as the last person said.

  • Sounds to me like:

This next song is on my latest record. This song is called "Come Back Home" but it has an unofficial, parenthetical title, which is: "Long distance relationships, no thank you."

  • What does she say at the beginning?

  • i have a question??

if its 16+ but with parent you can go in the show do they check if you 16 or not at the door just wondering before i buy the tickets??

  • So amazing.

  • she played in nyc on my birthday. amazing!
