The reason newer people dont like the first RE games, are because they arent used to hard games. In resident evil 0-3 (and code veronica x) you cant just go around shooting everything like in Cod and Cs, so because they eventually die and need to restart their entire save because the lack of ammo or health, the game apparently sucks to them.

actully, play resident evil 0-3 then you will see what resident eveil degeneration is about and how it all happan. the movies make no sense, (resident evil, afterlife, etc) so for all the newer RE fans, look these up.

I agree with you 100% but unfourtinetly many of the Newer/Younger RE fans dont like the older REs which is blastphefmous to my ears but its true, they complain about the camera angles and such but the original RE Games(i.e. Resident Evil 1,2,3,0 & CV) will always have a special place in my heart.

Every "Self destruct system" theme of any other Resident Evil game is better than this!

This just proves how crappy the second game was!

I really can't believe that people think RE2 was the best...Even 4 was better than it!

Re Zero, RE Remake, RE 3...all better than RE2..

@6666666666664 I never thought the RE games were all that hard. CVX is pretty frustrating but in no way impossible. But I grew up on them so I'm used to it. People just have no patience now. If they can't shoot everything in sight and pick up a bunch of health packs and ammo every time they need them they rage quit and complain about how horrible the game design is.

@Slash1117 which is hilarious because when they released 4 and 5 they didnt have camera angles telling you that you could move the camera your self now with 6 their saying that with camera angles you dont need the hassle to move the camera yourself lol

@6666666666664 also because its a thinking game people dont like to think these days but they fail to realize thats what makes resident evil so fascinating, its art of tricks puzzles and clues, and of course its brilliant story line and not to mention it was scary as all hell lool its not as interestin as it was now it seems residents evil is just point and shoot :/

@zelesoh think about it, the zombies cant move as fast or manipulate weapons like the plagas. but they are hard to kill as in eariler RE games is takes 4 or 5 shots to down just one. capcom if they decide to bring zombies back with new game play style they will find a way to make it just as hard. think about it, you shoot legs,arms anything on the zombie dont effect it's movment tward you. they fall down, they craw tward you, others will be surrounding you, head shot might take 2 or 3 hits.

@DarkC12ow By hunters you mean Lickers, right? And Resident Evil is at a stage where the only way to go back to zombies would be in a flashback/prequel game. I think future titles will be like 4 and 5 were, in which case zombies would be too easy to dispose of.
