Corey's Tutorial - Before you start the battle cast your shrouds, then when the battle starts stay on Relentless Assault till Dahaka's Stagger is half way. Then which to diversity and have hope heal you, switch back to Relentless Assault till Dahaka is staggered. Once his staggered is done switch to delta attack. Switch to combat Clinic when Dahaka uses Fulminous Firestorm and Bone-Chilling Breaker. Another attack Dahaka uses is Diluvial Plague, Which inflicts several different status aliments at once. To counter this is to use Dispelga, if you dont have Dispelga use combat clinic and pray lol.

Reminders - use Relentless Assault when Dahaka is staggered. When Dahaka casts faith and haste you can cast Dispelga to remove them.

Kevins Tutorial - My Battle was Lightning,Snow, and Vanille. Before you start the battle set Tri-disaster as your active paradigms then at the start battle use Libra. When Dahaka is stagger which to Aggression, then use Ruinga this will take a lot of his HP down. Once his staggered is done switch to Thaumaturgy or Diversity this well help to heal any party members that needs healing and will also get his chain gauge up, then follow the same steps. When Dahaka uses Diluvial Plague which to Perpetual Magic or Combat Clinic, then cast Esuna to remove the status aliments.

Reminders- Keep on attacking Dahaka don't let him use Fulminous Firestorm and Bone- Chilling Breaker, only stop when you need to heal. Remember to Always use Ruinga when staggered.

MY Paradigm Deck
Tri- Disaster (RAV,RAV,RAV)
Aggression (COM,COM,RAV)
Thaumaturgy (COM,RAV,MED)
Diversity (COM,RAV,MED)
Perpetual Magic (MED,RAV,MED)
Combat Clinic (MED,SEN,MED)

  • @AllMightyMac buy them from eden pharmapuetics (or watever its called)in the shops under the "save" option

  • this boss pissed me off BIG TIME

  • We're can I get shourds or make them

  • My strategy (with snow, sazh and vanille): buff urself up and debuff the boss when he puts on faith and haste. buff manually because it's faster. sentinel is really important imo, because without a sentinel u probably die if your health happens to be in yellow. with delta attack and relentless assault you stagger him fast. after staggering, you don't need sentinel and you can use that time also healing (diversity). summoning eidolon won't help you much... sorry if this was helpless lol.

  • and what happens if i have no shrouds...i havent gotten any since like chapter 6 or something -_-

  • i did what kevin did but when i got to the last third of his health his attacks kept me in heal mode i just couldnt keep it up long enough to attack again

  • @shadowman2132 Get back to Gran Pulse, level your characters on the behemoth king and wolf thing

  • this battle only took me 2 trys :P

  • im still stuck no matter what i try i end up dying

  • Just did this, ran in totally un-prepaired with only Relentless Assault and Combat Clinic in my deck. Four Pheonix Downs and a bunch of potions later i beat him with no stars, no score and a sore ass from sitting in one spot for too long. Yay me?
