NCDOT Visualization: I-85 Corridor Improvement Project

A rendering of a possible new bridge for the I-85 Yadkin River Bridge Project. The I-85 Corridor Improvement project includes widening a critical 6.8-mile section of I-85 from four to eight lanes from north of Long Ferry Road (Exit 81) in Rowan County to U.S. 29-52-70/I-85 Business (Exit 87) in Davidson County and replacing the bridges over the Yadkin River on I-85 and U.S. 29/70. Interchanges along the route will also be improved. The estimated cost of the project is over $300 million.
