@Ulm3n Well, it took 3 seconds, but just because Firefox took a while to load means nothing. You obviously don't understand how different hardware affects how different things load, and that the OS itself wouldn't make Firefox load slower. ;) That would also be why the OS itself is laggy, because the uploader probably has a shit system. Either that or their recording software sucks.
The only thing that somewhat looks like Mac OS is the dock, but docks are shitty, IMO. I never use them on Linux.

@descendency Well that's subjective. They are shinier but that doesn't mean anything, it's just the default GUI, which you can change anyways. Each distro has it's own look.
Also, you can disable select effects or replace them with different effects, or disable all of the "extras" all together.
And what do you mean are the high water mark of quality? As in burden on the hardware? I disagree. OpenGL graphics are always much more lightweight compared to DX. No hurt feelings, I just disagree. :p

@Ulm3n How is this a copy of Mac OS

@descendency Whats wrong with the Unity UI at first i hated it but i like it now(:

Not to hurt anyone's feelings, but OS X and Windows both have much more developed UIs, better overall designs, and whatnot.
Linux is nice for a free OS, but the bulk of the Apps shown here are the high water mark of quality. And that wobble effect annoys me.
I use Mint 12 on my other laptop just to say I can on my resume.

linux + that windows on the side = ultimate lol . Thats all it took for me to wanna try it out . Best of both worlds :D

@Neocrypter Yeah it's gnome 2 with AWN dock, HOWEVER i would recommend you use Docky if planning to use a dock now..its nicer.

Quick question. I saw you had Windows XP on there. Does that mean you can play games?

@zeroG131 I can. But it's nicer to play games using wine or cedega.
