Love, love Arnel!! For the naysayers: he wasn't looking to replace anybody, he was just making a living -sucessfully- in his own country and his own band. He was actively RECRUITED by Journey and I think he is making a damn good job at it and consider that English is not his native tongue! There is no denying this is a very talented artist. Not convinced? Check out his Aerosmith, Heart & other renditions.This is a JOURNEY and I am gonna keep on goin' :-)

@antijourney domt blame arnel-schon approached him & no one would turn down that offer! schon tried arnel as people never accepted another western singer after Perrys greatness! No matter how good augari, jss or arnel sing, its always gonna sound 2nd rate after Perry! Arnel is a publicity stunt that has ended with abysmal cd sales. Jouney ignore non perry era songs as the writing is poor & the concert crowd just want to hear the perry classics!

@newernieifyjourney seriously, arnel, a decent singer, is a publicity stunt that has run its short shelf life. why do journey play almost nothing from the last 3 journey albums? cos no ones interested! 100,000 worldwide sales of eclipse even at $9 - rofl! thats why the live shows are populated with songs from perrys era! perry is laughing all the way to the bank! lmbo.

@duhru4real no you aren't for real! arnel has great pipes but technically he wouldnt have been fit to tie Perrys shoelaces when Perry was in his prime. Thats why schon rarely lets him near songs like who's cryin', still they ride or mother father. great voice, just not good enough!

Perry is the only man who can sing this with the required passion. Arnel does a pretty good cover but its not his song. Almost no emotional attachment - and it shows!
