We should learn to love all good people wherever they are from. There are good people of white, black or brown. We must learn to learn from one another. Nationalism breeds hatred. Hitler is a perfect example.

In this case, geopolitics hurts that. Each region has its own problems and generally speaking, putting people in one area to police the habits of an area they have no familiarity in can lead to some pretty ugly shit.
I support globalization but in so much that each country is separate but interconnected to a reasonable degree.

@exacerbatedtaboo I'm not sure how to explain it, it's something to do with ones own country... personally, I think we should all come together as one planet... instead of fighting over stuff... but that's really a pipe dream...

I agree with you, we should treat each other with respect.

Didn't hear about the comedian, yet I know enough "free men on the land" and anarchists to know about the law of the land and the law of the sea which is where flags come from.
People make flags legitimate so how do we see flags as legitimizing US?

@1BustedMyth Don't be sorry. Like you said. There's a lot of people who don't know this. Information is always good.
americans dont give a f*ck about other humans

@Arkimedes999 That's a blanket statement that I reject. SOME Americans don't give a fuck about other humans, MOST Americans don't give a fuck about other humans, THE AMERICAN GOVERNMENT don't give a fuck about other humans. Certainly not all of them. I think there are a lot of uninformed Americans that fail to see the bigger picture. The US just like any other country is just dirt and rocks. We are all made of the same stuff and all spin around the same sun in the same solar system.

If I recall, the Pledge of Allegiance is to the country, as in the country of people, not the land...

@CJCA915 Even so. Why should we be pledging allegiance to just THIS country of people and not ALL COUNTRIES of people? We are all made of the same stuff and generally want the same things. Why should I be so proud just because I was born on a certain piece of land when I could have just as easily been born on some other piece of land? And in case anybody gets the notion that I'm hating on America I'm not. I just think we are ALL equals and ALL should be treated the same way.
