You can tell he's from stage, because he's always playing to the back row. Kind of like William Shatner, I guess.

Who dared to dislike this?! >:(

Sorry, meant to say that he died in 1997. He was born in 1913
-
@Fredtyson: he was a famous comedian originally from Vincennes, Indiana and he was known for his skits with characters such as Freddie the Freeloader, Deadeye the Sherrif, Clem Kaddilehopper, etc. He had his show which featured these skits. He died in 1977

I love this guy, he is the funniest person I know in the existance of the human race :3
Red proved that you don't have to be dirty to be funny. Kids love him. He was one of the greats. Thanks for posting.

@judyrusso You're right. Anyone can get a laugh the other way. That's
the great thing about Red, Jack and all the rest of the great comedians
of that era. Thank you :)

When I look back at Red, and his fine work, then fast forward thru today it becomes even more clear how great he was.

The episode, if you're still wondering, is the one with Martha Raye as the guest star (where she was playing Cleopatra).
