  • I love that short-lived chromatic walkdown at 0:29. Nice touch.

  • then he plays some intervals, does god knows what, plays a chromatic starting on c sharp and goes up the lydian mode, or G# starting on C sharp. Then he sweeps C#minor 7 for the sax solo lead in

  • after a good bit of listening, I've figured out some of it

He starts out going up the phyrgian (starts on C here), then leads into a C#minor 7 arpeggio by hammering on around e flat and playing a section of the melody ending on a descending f minor arpeggio. then he hits ascends from c, and does the punchy part at 00:25 going up phrygian again with slight HO's, goes down chromatically from G sharp, and does a descending sweep of C augmented (from what I can tell it's that chord anyway.)

  • nice solo wat scale

  • Awesome play man.

Is there a scale your using here or just chord arpeggios?

  • nice , I like the way the solo is passed on to the sax at the end
