  • Is any more of her shows online or elsewhere? I think I'd like Sally...never knew about her till recently (even though I DID have Philly stations growing up!)

  • @JMFabianoRPL

I'm lucky I taped this because there's not much footage of Sally out there. Sadly, this show didn't last too long because the station was sold to HSN soon after. She was allways a favorite of mine, very down to earth.

  • @JSF0864 Any clue as to where to write to her?

  • @JMFabianoRPL She had a show on WVLT-FM in Vineland, there might be something about her on thier Website.

  • Sally Starr, Gene London, Chief Halftown!!

  • @gbxfilms Heard they had a fire at the store and they are closed right now. Hope they open back soon.

  • channel 65, oh yeah, UHF. The Home Shopping Network robbed us of many UHF stations, shows and stars. North Jersey lost Uncle Floyd! Home Shopping Network, who ever thought that would catch on?????

  • @ghschase - Our Gal Sal is quite alive & well in 2011. She makes personal appearances throughout south Jersey on a regular basis, and is quite accessible to her fans, even at age 88 (January 25, 1923). She also has a Saturday show on WVLT (92.1 FM) at 5 PM, and you can listen to her show online on the radio station's website. She also has her own website and Facebook page.
