  • The perfect elegiac close to this tumultuous year...

  • Straight from the horse's mouth, as it were. Brilliant, I can only echo Bravo Poulenc, Fournier and Debussy....

  • A deeply moving performance!

  • I'm quite blown away. i think it's because there's a composer at the piano but this performance ADDS so much. brings out all of Debussy's lovely preportions and structure. god bless Poulenc, Fournier and Debussy

  • serenade is the best i've ever heard it. perfect tempo. music like this is rare

  • GREAT record !

  • There is no cellist performing today who comes close to Pierre Fournier's great artistry. A master of his instrument.

  • Wow, cool piece! Never heard it before...

  • I was very eager to listen to these recordings by them - didn't they record a few works by Poulenc also? Thanks.
