but where's Chigurh? And which movie would he enjoy? Imagine him eating popcorn the same way he ate those seeds in No Country... O_o

wow. a Coen's film shot on HD, that's kind of odd, plus they didn't use Roger Deakins as their DP, or even Bruno Delbonnel whom they worked with in Paris Je T'aime. it's nice to see the Coens doing something new. though i have to say, this short is underwhelming, i want more Coen-esque!

i always thought more 'common' people would enjoy 'uncommon' films if they only let one roll, unprejudiced. a good film is a good film, and the most beautiful ones can be accessed by most people.

Josh "dan" looks like his character in No country for old men.

I was waiting to hear the guy shatter our misconceptions with something analytical like "Everything about the piece startles the viewer, from the crystalline cinematography to the sound mix. The colours sing, the faces melt into the landscapes as if majestic vistas. As Ceylan's camera fixes on the starlet's countenance while it convulses in a series of fleeting climate shifts, I found myself bearing witness to an entire life in a glimpse!"

I think they're playing off OUR prejudices; we don't expect him to be complicated, but at the end we see we had no reason for that expectation.

CONGRATS ON OVER 20000 VIEWS - Les Climats - imagination - head shots - poetic landscapes - long silences - the sound of a woman drawing on a cigarette lingers
