The reason i still remember playing FFXI is because of the people you play with. Just being forced to meet other people and help other people out makes this the best mmo

@ZerilaFFXI same here played off and on since... nov '04ish on Phoenix and i think i only recognized like 2 names from the vid.

At the lake in Lufaise Meadows. I was fishing for Liks for Ebisu rod quest. Those fish break the Lu Shang rod often so you need to Woodworking 73+ to fix it. I just timed my synth to coincide with the big mob that swoops down from the sky. It swoops down once a day at about 2:30 pm. Many players have never seen it. You can't fight it or anything like that. Just one of those nice touches SE put in many of the zones.

holy crap! so this is FFXI? ive never seen the game play till now. it looks kinda complicated. does this game have a story line? or you just do whatever? or both? (btw this is practically new to me because it is no where close to other FF games. kind of surprise me) lol

It has lots of storylines. It is a very deep and complicated game underneath. Much moreso than World of Warcraft.
