West Metro Atlanta/West Atlanta Roadgeeking - Part 2 [HD]

This video gives y'all a tour of Douglasville, Georgia, which is 22 miles west of Downtown Atlanta. It's the county seat of and one of the two incorporated areas in Douglas County, Villa Rica being the other (a portion of the "City of Gold" extends into Carroll County). Lithia Springs, located near the intersection of Bankhead Highway and Thornton Road, was incorporated up until 2001, when the city de-incorporated, letting the county take over its services.

The "big" Hwy 92 project should be starting eventually. I hear they are going to tear down a few shopping centers for the new road. That's sad, because there are a lot of jobs that will be lost.

I always find it interesting the concept of urban structure (USA), the widely dispersed population in large urban areas.

Here beehives and with little space, this is called horizontal property..
