My hand falls to the floor
A ball and chain strapped to my wrist
A flaming arrow pierces
The remains of my fist

Ghosts of your future
Premonitions of my past
I though I saw your face once
But the memory went too fast

Did you ever feel your body shrink?
Or the bottom of your arms fall out?
And I wonder if you knew the king
Who thought too much on doubt

Can you show me the broken path?
It leads to the ancient seas
Where we can escape the death threats of this life
A place where how we live is not based on grief

Do tell me quickly
For haste is a chore required
The world we thought that once was ours
May now truly be acquired
