  • Asthma is a chronic, inflammatory condition, caused by many possible factors. Asthma is NOT caused by a lack of antibiotic injections. Among the many causes of inflammation, are any kind of smoke, dust, grains and carbohydrates in the diet, dust mites, aerosol sprays, stress, to name a few of the majors. PLEASE watch Dr. Karen Becker, D.V.M. She is a holistic veterinarian, she offers excellent suggestions...Among her suggestions are switching protein sources, from fish and fowl to rabbit meat

  • @couragegirl1 Sorry, just injecting antibiotics would be harmful, especially if the cat has asthma. A good vet will use antibiotics ONLY as a last resort, and ONLY if there is a clearly evident, bacterial infection or clear risk thereof, due to injury or open wound of some sort.

  • PLEASE watch Dr. Karen Becker, D.V.M. She is a holistic veterinarian, who has excellent knowledge and offers very good suggestions to follow. You can search and find her videos right here on youtube. She is associated with Joseph Mercola, D.O.

  • Somehow I clicked on a link on a video and the link I clicked on was of a cat having an asthma attack. watched a few vids and now this one. I think my cat is having asthma attacks and not trying to cough up hairballs like I thought was the case. This video and one other one exactly match the sounds/body positions that my cat displays during these attacks. Good to know. I'll mention it to my parents in the morning. Thanks for posting this!

  • My cat died 2 days ago from this because my stupid self thought he just had hair balls not wanting to come out now I know why he died wish I wold have seen this video sooner

  • WELL YOUR A FOOL FOR NOT BELEIVING IN VETS!! BRING YOUR CAT IMMEDIATLT TO THE VET SO IT STOPS SUFFERING! they will inject it with antibiotics that will help everythinG in his breath back, it will cost alot of money but otherwise your cat is suffering! please help him! DONT NEGLECT HIM! HE NEED A PUMP AND SOME HUMAN PILLS TOO! the vet told me if i waitedany longer my cat could have died! thats my word

  • poor kitty !!!

how is he doing ?? i can help with feline asthma

    my cat have it

inbox me if you have Qs

  • that is asthma i thought that is hairball time cuz he is starting to do hair sometimes every 2 weeks

  • My cat has almost died twice in the last year from what has now been diagnosed as asthma. I'm just now starting him on an inhaler daily and will have an emergency inhalant available if he goes into another bad attack - both of those cost me over $600 each to save his life.

I have tile, wood, leather - no fabric in the 1/2 of the house where my kitty lives and use anti dust litter, no fragrances, powders, nothing like that. Keep the litter pan open - no lids on them and brush often.

  • My cat has asthma, and we went through lots of medication. Steroids, asthma pills, inhalers, etc. Most of what causes my cat's attacks is her environment. Steam clean your carpets and furniture, wash your curtains, sheets, everything! It really helped her. She's gone from having about 10 attacks a day to one every other day.
