  • ihave a red heeler named rascal hes the best i ever had super loyal protective and easily learn tricks

  • I'm Bia! I live in Brazil! I love this breed of dog! I have this one called Pick!

(Eu sou a Bia! Moro no Brasil! Eu adoro essa raça de cães! Eu tenho uma dessa que se chama Pick!)

  • @unclearless

I agree. I've been told my rescue Border Collie doesn't belong in a town either but he seems perfectly happy with his town life, although I do regularly take him to the country to run and explore.

  • @Chadellac1 I disagree with you immensely! I live in Tempe (5min. from Phoenix) Arizona, and my beautiful rescue Heeler, Nugget, is as happy as can be! We go to the dog parks, out for runs and bike rides, we go to the lake and go swimming and have a blast! At the pub everyone yells out his name, he jumps on a stool, they give him water and he is HAPPY! I'm starting to think some people just like to say they own a ranch...BIG FREAKIN' DEAL! If you're gonna be a turd, go lay in the yard...idiot.

  • yes blue heeler and red heeler are just different colors for australian cattle dogs and queensland heeler is just another name for the breed

  • My cattle dog is a one person dog. She will protect our family to the end but she is extremely vicious toward any other animal and also doesn't like kids. I have 4 dogs and she has to live in my bedroom because she attacks all of the other dogs. I love her to death but have no idea what to do with her.

  • @Milanbanjac123 I'm pretty sure that's an ACD mix though... their eyes are usually dark (mostly brown).

  • I love the markings- i don't think my dog Jess is 100% ccattle- but she does have that little white strip between her eyes and has some of the grey/white markings- but has a softter coat, black saddle and a little more hair around her neck- so thinking part border collie??? She is just starting to experience tracking/searching and LOVES it

  • Great video. I'm wondering about the blue-eyed dog. Must be a mix? We have two wonderful blue heelers in Panama. They love the beach, chasing lizards and our male loves to surf! See Roscoe surfs on Youtube

  • That picture at 0:51 is extremely captivating! :D
