Its a common habit as it let the rower use the muscle group he/she more comfortable in that posture.

No-one seems to be looking ahead to watch what's happening in front of them, not working in synch, also, what's with the bent lower arm? And the rotating upper arm? I'm only new at this, so trying to learn as much as I can, thanks for the tips! You guys look like you have some POWER!

3rd girl from the left, and the last guy on the left are terribly bad lol. No weight body movement. No twist and grab the water out. The guy in the back specially, his just moving his arm giving a fuck of whats going on LAFF

the 2 guys behind the pacers...should be back pack...cause they are bigger...heavier and more powerful...they can make the boat fly haha!

timing is well out in the power room (middle)
also body is not helping to move the boat faster, noticed a lot of paddlers blowing out after 40 strokes, too much arm work, big paddlers up front makes the boat front heavy, but hey if this works for your team, go for it.
