JFK did not like being over-protected and the USSS agents had to play the difficult hand they were dealt with. Look at any previous JFK motorcade footage which is consistent with Dallas on Nov. 22. There was no "stand down" in Dallas, only JFK feeling more comfortable in public and not wanting agents hanging all over him. Bull shit the secret service we part of the assassination team. Greer fired the final shot at point blank range. Why do you think Jackie Kennedy was trying to get the hell out the the car. Answer. The assassin was sitting right in front of her. If she was concerned about shots outside the car she would have hit the floor boards.
