This is from an old movie called Blood on the Sun. Pretty impressive martial arts done in this fight scene compared to some of the crap that we see nowadays.

Judo newaza was the basis of Gracie JuiJitusu, the wholoe reason for the shime waza and kansetu waza not working is that the scene had to continue.

omfg! i had no idea old movies had kick ass judo in them! they could have benefited from some Gracie JJ.... the armbar and gi choke should have sealed the deal, but some awesome throws. On a solid wood floor. When actors were men.

Furious battle, although i doubt anyone would still stand after 2 of these throws, well, its a movie :D Anyways, action movies nowadays should show more cool throws like these. A mix between kicks, punches and throws, that would be nice.
