Come Dine With C

The inaugural Come Dine With C, 15th January 2011.

Welcome to Come Dine With C, the cooking event of the year!

See Matthew Charles Harry Pollard fight in a culinary battle against Tank in order to decide once and for all who is the best chef in Wolverhampton.

Over three courses the two chefs will use all of their culinary expertise in order to impress the resident judges who will in turn secretly give points for each dish.

Will Pollard's posh cuisine be voted better than Tank's nosh? There's only one way to find out..

THE MENUS

Tank's Menu:

Falafels
Drizzled with tahini and served with a pickle salad

Chili Bean Con Carne
With cheese scones and rice

American-style Pancakes
With a choice of fruit fillings, served with ice cream and syrup


Pollard's Menu:

Starter: Baked beans on toast
Spherification of haricot and tomato on a parmesan crisp with a Lea and Perrins foam

Fish course: Fish and Chips
Popcorn shrimp served with a pea puree, pickled shallots and potato

Main: Steak Dinner
With vegetables, potato and peppercorn jelly

Dessert: Chocolate Mousse
Shortbread and a whisky caramel sauce

Aperitif: Ravioli of Summer Berries
Poached in a white wine liquor

Oh my lord and oh my days. By the grace of god this is not what I intended to be viewing on this glorious day in Ibadan, Oyo State. Oh lord what is this? I anticipate to see an episode of a show which has fame and culture and receives the accolades in my town but what is this? iT is not what I expect to see it is not what i demand. I want to see come dine, but this is a mimicary a mockery of such an image which is on my set. Truly not worth the cisit to the internet emporium Al Ummah Cafe UI.
