Need we recount Great Frauds of Science? Piltdown Man? The Brontosaurus? I'm not saying that there's a conspiracy at work here, but I *am* saying that it is POSSIBLE for even peer review to make a mistake, and politics plays a role in peer review, as it does in everything else. It's a good system, but it's not perfect.

The vid says some folks replicated the results but some did not. Anybody studying the reasons for this? Any active research going on at all?

This is bullshit. The peer review system works just fine. There is no mass worldwide scientific conspiracy. If something has a hidden agenda its this video. Strong competition and peer review is what keeps there from being secrets. If you think they could plan a conspiracy like this why doesn't a group run with it take the credit become very rich world wide superstars and heroes? It doesnt make sense.

In Law, you cannot be judges twice for the same fact.

In Science, you must always questioning your knowledge.

So, the fact that "science" was able to get the judgment "cold fusion is false" without losing credibility even now that we know cold fusion is indeed true..... does it look like Science or Law?

But they won. It's impossible to question the science.

I don't believe any of us are asking for more than a simple demonstration that this "Old Fusion" will actually defy known scientific laws and... well... you know... like... mAybe... WORK!
