@Nikorasu Actually, according to the official stat calculations, Balthier has the least proficiency with guns, and is more handy when using swords.

Ended up making a fic out of how synthetic Balthier's Quickenings look compared to the others and chalking it down to the influence of nethicite when he was younger. I love wild mass guessing.

He is one of the strange exceptions where both of his voice (Japanese? + English) kick ass =) Most of the times one of the voice for every character is pretty bad =/

All the characters in FFXII can lean on any jobs. Its up to the user's customization. I personally prefer him to be a gunner with a rifle because that is what Balflear is good at.
