When working with a paint gun, such as a chop gun, the pressure should be set at 20 to 25 PSI, but the pressure is largely dependent on the viscosity of the material. Find out how to count paint drips to set the air pressure with help from a professional painter in this free video on using paint guns.

  • I am having trouble figuring out what type of setup to use for hvlp. I already own a Crafstman 15gal 1.5-3hp compressor. If using a pressure pot, do I need a separate compressor for the pot and one for the gun, or does the pot have an inlet from the tank and outlet to run to the gun? I realize this may not apply to your video, but I need someone who has experience to give me some advice.

  • Use a paintball marker and flatten it out as you shoot -:D
