  • this is beautiful thanks for sharing

  • @delameu I'm quite aware this was played at a major violin competition. Thank you for pointing out any supposed ambiguity in my previous comment.

For clarification, the message I wanted to convey was that she did an amazing job, there were (very) minor technical issues which I attributed to nervousness, and that she is a brilliant artist who will likely have a wonderful future in music.

  • I've heard this fugue for organ and for guitar first, and now for violin. Wow! I still can't really believe that the concept of fugue can applied to violin. I love how the violin can sound so good alone without an orchestra; Bach and talents like her make it possible

  • When the angels sing for God, they sing Bach (music), when they sing for themselves they all other music

Bach, from Scared to Secular and in between

  • So beautiful...makes me want to cry. Bach just gets me! :-s

  • @theomnihoward this is not some undergrad recital, listen again

  • belllisimo!

  • Good interpretation of a difficult piece, but I sense you were a little nervous and didn't play to your full potential.

  • Very beautiful interpretation

  • Lovely..actually quite beautiful! And the Bach satisfies also.
