PlayStation 3 - Guitar Hero III Legends Of Rock Review

Pros
+ Guitar is now wireless
+ Very good tracklist with a majority of master recordings
+ Online play is great & very fun
+ Extreme difficulty level is pure fan service.
+ Slash & Tom Morello are playable characters.

Cons
- Way too difficult on Hard & Expert for new players.
- Online play is occasionally laggy (at least in the PS3 version it is)
- Many peoples arms will fall off during the Expert career.

Graphics 6/10

Looks great at times but the vocalist, bassist & drummer look down-right ridiculous




Gameplay 9/10

Fun, engaging gameplay that rarely gets boring.

Sound 9/10

Majority of the track list are original recordings but the cover tracks sound good but not great & sometimes look more difficult to play.

Online 8/10

First GH game to have online play & it rocks big time but the PS3 version has occasional lag issues.

Replay value 10/10

Really fun when playing solo or with a friend & the extreme difficulty adds longevity to the game.

Overall value 8/10

GH3 is a very fun music game but is not a good starting point for newcomers (this was my first GH game & I absolutely sucked at it but have improved greatly now)

i have a question...can we play drums whit this game ? AND...why doesnt it play 2 quitars? i must be missing something here..

yes you can play with 2 guitars in this game but you can't play drums in GH3 only World Tour & GH games released after world tour support drums
