"Why Bouncing Is Illegal"

The art of bouncing (or bunnying as it is known in other games) is considered illegal in competitive Unreal Tournament gameplay. This video helps to demonstrate why.

With the use of this technique, nearly every CTF map in the game can be traversed in seconds. Every clip in this video uses just one booster, so theoretically would not be hard to set up in a real match.

Every route in this video was discovered and tweaked by us (and -=)RyF(=-Promo). The end result is a fast route through nearly every CTF map on the competetive maplists.

  • just bind MouseWheelUp and MouseWheelDown to Jump, then spin the wheel and you can't fail ;D

    its not the same engine

    UT came out before Q3 for one thing and why would ID want Epic to have their engine for a competing game?

    Q3 is based in Open GL primarily and while good Open GL renderer's were made for UT it was originally intended to be primarily Direct 3D

    UT runs on the Unreal Engine, Q3 runs on the Quake 3 engine

  • @smantie Lol :) those are bounces and are not that hard to pull off. The easiest way is to hold walk and jump at the start and then after it's just a matter of practice :) all you need is a boost at the start and that's it :P GO GO GO
