I like how Paul growls "FAW!" when he says "one-two-three-FAW!"

See.. someone told me that it was George who did all those backing vocals.. but when I listen to it carefully, the timbre tells me that it's Johns voice..

I love the Stereo versions for listening through speakers, but the Mono versions are better for headphones up until Sgt. Peppers.

That is my exact opinion, except I think that mono Lucy In the Sky With Diamonds and Getting Better are worth the listen on headphones.

Of course when we're talking about Sgt. Pepper on, it's all about the versions rather than stereo/mono.

I listened to Lucy in the Sky on Mono, and I still prefer the Stereo version, jst because you can hear the guitar better and there's not as much echo.

I didn't say it was better. I just said it was worth listening to.

For more frequent listening, the stereo is better.

Actually, slight revision: Help! is better in stereo.

As for Rubber Soul, I go on a track-by-track basis. Revolver is superior in stereo, but I love the Paperback Writer/Rain single in mono.

I guess I'm the only one who digs the stereo versions. They just sound cool to me. LOVE it!
