1st did this route in the snow when I was 15, 20 years ago! Young and dumb....with a (ir)responsible scout master!?!
In fairness think this looks scarier because of the visibilty, both times I've done it we could only see 10 foot max so didn't really appreciate the height.....will have to do it one day in the clear.

On my doorstep and one of the best scrambling days out you can have. Looks a lot scarier than it is to be honest. Rock is all good quality with lots of great holds all the way , Great video though to be fair,clever shot angles accentuating the fear factor. You should return and perhaps do a similar one of Bristly Ridge.

That looks like great fun! I'm hopefully heading up Tryfan myself in a few weeks time. Don't think I'll take that route though!

Great video, you managed to make it look much more dramatic and scary than it actually is! We went up the same way as you (started at the stairs, passed the canon..) in gales and driving rain. It was my first proper scrambling experience.
Some very hairy moments indeed!
Well done for getting that fear factor across in your video. And well done for making it to the top! (although turning back is far less appealing than continuing on Tryfan isn't it!!)
