you had your prop on the wrong side of the cut, you want it on the opposite side of the drop, that way the blade will not bind and you will not have to pick it up like you did to get it drop when you cut through it.

just as a heads up it wont bind if u set the curf well and it just takes trial and error too much and it takes too long too little and it gets bound they almost always come with 0 curf
