I used the word "intelligence" as an adjective.

To imply genetic intelligence is to differentiate it from acquired or nurtured/environmental intelligence.

Along with the use of xenophobic, it was 100% correct wording and destroyed the point of yours it was aimed at.

The bottom line is that you don't believe you were being xenophobic. No one wants to admit this because doing so implicitly states that they are gigantic bigots, regardless of genetic or racial makeup. You can be Italian-Australian, but that doesn't make any less of a bigot than white trash.
