crossing the line, reminds me of crossing the line or plane of the ball with the butt of the golf club. I should not tell this super secret but just remember who told you Ryon Lind Polk City Fl. all clubs being equal and having the the same angle/ lag the only thing that changes is how much of the but of the club goes past the ball just before impact. this action shortens up the club swing radious. The optimum club is the 6 iron and it crosses the plane of the ball up to the left hand knuckle
