  • @iluvmym4 It is not your place to do anything. It is THEIR place. They can train their dog, but you cannot do anything about it.

  • Thanks for this. I am a huge animal lover and I actually just applied for a job as an ACO here in Fl. My kids are sad because they don't want me to be the "dog catcher" but I'm trying to show them its a lot more than that. Its rescue, enforcing code and investigating abuse. Thank you for this and I PRAY I get the job =)

  • @iluvmym4 Tell the guy to stop barking. BTW... why is the guy barking?

  • What can I do about non stop dog barking? The guy that lives next to me in my apartment complex barks day & nite! The management claim they can't do anything!

  • You people are ridiculous!!! This is there job!!! They follow what the job description says! Whatever happens to the animal does not affect their jurisdiction!! Research shot before you go and call somebody a bitch and also do a lil research to understand that nobody gasses anything anymore it's all vaccination

  • OMG how would u people like to be on cach poles and draged up on cars and things MY GOSH and what is the pont of that your just UNFANNIZING THEM ANYN WAY

  • You fuc*** bitches how would you like to be treated like that!!! I know that those animals will end up in gas chambers!!!!! it's like the animal version of the holocaust!!!! :( :( I can't belive you could do that to animals bitches!!!!! :( :(

  • First of all, I agree 100% with the Animal Control gentleman. And second, I work at that same CFA. Hi Arthur!

  • @ihateanimalshelters [part 3] And yes, I do work off the city's general fund, provided by taxpayers such as yourself. Just like the police, ems, fire fighters, and the like. I don't consider myself a hero, as you suggested. This is a very humbling job, and it's not always easy. Nobody enters the field of animal control to kill. They enter the field because they love animals and wish to help them have happier and healthier lives, which is why we enforce humane law.

  • @ihateanimalshelters [part 2] We have an active sheltering program in place, and the animals are given the best care my co-workers and I can give them until they find their new home. As for the tax-subsidized euthanasia you spoke of: I've never heard of a program such as that, and I can assure you that my city doesn't have a program that even resembles what you spoke of. Our euthanasia program costs around 90 dollars, as we don't like to encourage putting an animal down as an easy option.
