Can you put part 3 back on please??
-
@judawork Mainly on access systems we use continental access, the superterm series. for fire alarms, we use Firelite and its cousin notifier. Oh and hey that little trick you illustrated about checking a relay, u are a godsend i made one minutes after i saw that.. One more thing if you have recentley installed a continental access panel, when you first opened it up, has the battery bracket ever been bent, or missing?

Yeah I'm an electrician in Ireland, mainly domestic and some industrial, with the economy on it's ear I ended up handing back my company van + phone, but it's not so bad still working 5 days and my own Saturday work, I just find your line of work more interesting. Bought a vw transporter and currently plylining it out

part 3!!! upload please!
Love the Vid, i do the same thing ( access control's) but i also do fire alarms. And the little brush is a nice touch, i could use the same brush, is it a shaving brush or a large artist brush. Anyway where is vid # 3!!??

@ravager349 Yeah, I know, I need to complete the series but about the time I started this project our 2nd baby was born and I'm struggling with finding time that I can "waste" on youtube. What systems do you work on? The brush came from when I worked for the phone company, they called it a "water brush". I've never really looked for one, but I when I think about it I would suggest going to your local old school hardware store, like a do it best...

Looking at edc vids all day and at last stumbled across a tradesman far play for doing the vids I haven't the neck love that tamper driver, do u drive a van or truck would love to see a set up like that on a vid, see if I could pick up a few tips, keep up the good work

@county582 Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment. The tamper driver has paid for itself several dozen times. I drive a Ford Transit Connect Cargo with an Adrian Steel interior. I like it better than my old Astro but I really miss the Ford Econoline F250 that I drove for a different company. What are you doing?

this reminds me to get a cheap dmm.... centech it is! haha i gotta put my fluke away..
jjlwis 11 months ago
@jjlwis yeah, I love my fluke too and it goes with me when I really need it but for everyday stuff... you just can't beat a $20 velleman. If you want to upgrade to something with more easily replaced or longer leads try a BK. You can get a Mini DMM for about 40. Not sure on Harbor Freight's meter quality, but I've been burned on some of their compressor parts. Good luck.
