@MrLilkeith804 Do doubt about it. They were smooth as silk. As much as I love the others they looked rehearsed.

Ruff blew her out of the water... Went up a note and still blew her away..

Sour Grapes & Jealousy can make people say alot of things, The simple Fact is Diana Ross had the most Discipline, Determination & Cross Over Potential at the time & thats where the Big Money was,, Gladys & Diana made the bulk of their Fortunes after Leaving Motown

so it wasnt so much talent it was who motown wanted to put money behind to make them move alot of artist got shelved the isleys, tammi wasnt pushed before getting with marvin gaye and she had the drive the talent and looks but berry had a focus and it was mostly diane cause come on now we know gladys knight got talent we knows from her years of hits she has the drive berry just had one focus.

@tuzwol motown was the sound of young america i have read evryones book including berry gordys.the temptations crossed over on the charts alot so they appealed to white kids as well i run into alot o whites who were teens at the times who loved the supremes as well as the temps berry had the tempts record a album of standards as well even both groups had the mass appeal even thought the supremes were wider because of dianas voice wasnt too soulful but berry said it could cut throught transitter
-
@OnlineAdministrator1 she wrote a book its called secrets of a sparrow it camed out in 91 i read it
-
@SpazChat he still sounded good but what happened they had to change the keyes at the last mintue i read it in a book called all that glitters a close friend of both groups who was there diana kept complaining so thats why you hear a little strain but he still kilt it.
-
david they way he worked that im losing you he made diana sing that song she actually song the hell outta that song due to david working it when the tempts replaced him it was a huge mistake dennis couldnt measure up

@williamg2552 i just got my temptations ed sullivan its this complete performance they sangd get ready my girl which was switched to my guy stop in the name of love nad im losing you the dvd is worth it and i only piad 8 dollars on amazon its good uncut like it was when it first aired december 1967
Ok to go ahead and clear this whole thing up, BOTH Diana and David were good. BUT, I'm sorry diana fans but mister David Ruffin was and still is a better singer than diana ross, Levi stubs and even the late great Marvin Gaye admitted it, David had a soulfulness In his voice that nobody, including him, could match.
