Are you delusional or can't you just read? How am I acting like the US is evil, tell me? I said it was Bush's decision to send US troops, and not Clinton's decision since he wasn't yet president.

And the UN-sanctioned US-led troops, a majority of whom where US personnel, were sent there in early December 1992. I just don't understand why people say Clinton ordered the troops there, when it's clearly that's not the case, he wasn't even President at that time.

Stop trying to act like the United States is evil. The US has done more than any otther country in history to help out other nations and their people.

There was nothing to gain by going into Somalia. It was done to try and help those people.
It started off in August 1992 with Operation Provide Relief in supporting support the multinational UN relief efforts. The United States air-lifted 48,000 tons of food, medical supplies and other aid in six months to international humanitarian organizations trying to help over three million starving people.

You're plain wrong about all except the commentary part.. Gulf War ended in 1991 and it was Bush who ordered troops to Somalia before his term as president ended.
